Dr. Linda Bieri graduated in 1978 from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She has been in the private practice of general dentistry since that time in Laurens, Iowa, and in Spirit Lake since 2004. She is married with three children.
Dr. Steven Christensen graduated in 1986 from the University of Iowa College Of Dentistry. He has been in private general dental practice since that time in Laurens, Iowa, and in Spirit Lake since 2004. He is married with two children.
They both belong and have been elected as officers in various dental organizations including: the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the Fort Dodge District, the Fort Dodge Study Club, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Iowa Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, and the University of Iowa Dental Alumni Association.
Both Dr. Bieri and Dr. Christensen were selected to the Pierre Fauchard Academy. In 2005, Dr. Bieri was privileged to receive the Outstanding Dentist of the Year from that organization. Dr. Bieri was selected to the International College of Dentists in 2002. Dr. Christensen was honored to receive the Distinguished Service Award from the American Society of Dentistry for Children in 2002. Both doctors are adjunct faculty for the University of Iowa Preceptor Program. Each year they host one or two senior dental students. While the students are with them they learn about the business aspects of dental practice. They also perform procedures they have learned at the dental school in Iowa City. These are done under the direct supervision of the doctors.
Both doctors volunteer their time at the Fort Dodge Free Dental Clinic.
